Beautiful secluded bungalow in sought-after Ashby De La Launde, well away from overcrowded 'cliff villages'. Ashby is the dream location for those who want to 1) enjoy peace and quiet location with no pub and shops for miles, but 2) don't want to live 'miles from anywhere' to get them!

The beautiful conifer west hedge being over 10 ft tall. In fact the house is invisible from the only road thru Ashby unless you're right at the front gate.


Ashby De La Launde is quite unique. It came into existance as a country estate with Hall, Farm and some of the old village properties. It is set right in the middle of beautiful rural landscape and according to internet searches I have done there are only about 100 addresses in the village and few ever go there that don't live there - and the road thru (mainly farm and RAF Digby traffic) is virtually silent at night.

Hard-pressed estate agents will never do justice to this property! That's why it's here. What you'd be buying into here is a QUIET rural location and Lord knows, there are few of them left anywhere. It took us 2 years to find! Check out Ashby! Blink and you'll never notice you drove thru it but if you love the country you'll love it.

40 Main St is far enough from over-crowded Navenby and Wellingore other 'so-called 'sought after locations' on the old Grantham road to be worth relocating to even from there! On the other hand, it's close enough to enjoy their amenities from a repsectable distance and only minutes from the A15 Sleaford to Lincoln road only 20 min/1/2hr drive to Lincoln if you leave before 7am.
