Situation
Carsluith is approximately 11/2 miles from Creetown with pubs, PO, general store, church, doctors surgery and primary school. The market town of Newton Stewart is 9 miles to the west and has supermarkets, cinema, library, secondary school, etc.
This is quite a rural area of SW Scotland and Harmony is located in the village of Carsluith just of the A75.
Galloway Forest Park is approx 2 miles up the road with miles of walks and cycle tracks and fishing in the lochs.
Harmony is south facing and originally constructed in the mid 1950s, solidly built of cavity brick under a tiled roof. It has been improved and upgraded over the years with double glazing, central heating by mains gas, renewal of guttering, fascias, soffits and leadwork. All exterior walls were painted this year with Dulux weathershield. The conversion of the loft space into two large en-suite by the present owners was originally carried out for B&B; accommodation and is ideal for this business. The whole is in good decorative order with wonderful uninterrupted views across the bay, showing the most amazing sunsets, and set in its own ground of approx 2 acres. OPP has been obtained for a 3 bedroom dwelling with garage and the site has already been dug out and levelled and the access formed. All services close at hand.
